Guess what guys? All my plants died except my Fittonia (Nerve plant). *sniff ಥ﹏ಥ* The only one I did not re-plant. Could it be they didn't like the soil? But its supposed to be good for most house plants.~ Or maybe I didn't do the re-planting correctly?
I read that different plants, just like any living thing, have different needs. That's why you need to get to know the plant first before disturbing its current environment. I clearly need to study more. tsk tsk ( ̄へ ̄)
I'm giving up on huge plants for now. I don't think they receive much light. My window, being the only source of bright light in my place, is just too small for them.
Nerve plants are easy to care for. I water (the soil) once or twice a week and mist the leaves every morning. If I forget, the plant will faint *haha*, they go limp which goes away really fast once I pour water. It grew tall stems though instead of bushy leaves. I read that for a fuller look, you do a plant pinching technique which forces it to grow more leaves instead of growing tall. I also plan to propagate it just to try. I wasn't quite successful with propagating my Jade plant so I'm a bit scared to try it again.
And so one Sunday, I found myself trudging along the all too familiar path towards Manila Seedling Bank. Hello plants! *cue evil music Ψ(`∀´)Ψ * mwahaha
Introducing my new plants!
Two African Violets (blue & violet) and one vine plant shaped in a heart wire (I forgot to ask the name)
Hello pretty rabbit ~ I'm going to cry if this breaks. Its so gorgeous and it took me a year to find one!

Things I Love: ceramic teapot
Labels: Ceramics / Dinnerware / Inspiration / Things I Love
My new teapot! That I absolutely love. I got it on sale at Landmark while I was searching for dinnerware. It looks ordinary to some people but I like it~ the shape and beautiful white cover~ is perfect. *happy*
Also bought a pack of green tea to brew~
I don't usually drink tea or anything bitter. My coffee almost always has more sugar. So I'm finding ways to drink my tea more comfortably.
edit: Thea suggested using honey instead of sugar as it tastes better :)

Browsing art supplies gives me a curious feeling of happiness. I got a fabric pen & stencil ABC's that I plan to use for a diy project.

Minna no Nihongo
When I studied Nihongo Elementary 1, we used this beginner book of Minna no Nihongo. I have always wanted my own book because sadly the one we were given only included half of each book and none of the CD & workbook. The other half is for Elementary 2 you see (≖_≖). I decided I'm gonna do self-study from now on. I have more stuff I'm interested in doing now and I don't feel like spending so much money in formal school. Besides I know it can be done, I just need to be dedicated about studying (and stop procrastinating). (¯3¯)~♪
"Minna no Nihongo" is one of the most popular Japanese language textbooks for classrooms and individuals across the world. Lesson topics including essential grammar, vocabulary, listening and speaking are taught and instilled in students through situational daily conversations. This "Shokyu 1" is essential for beginners.
