Style: Vintage / Retro bag

These days whenever I go out, I bring a lot of stuff with me – that is my makeup, gadgets, camera, and books. And on certain days my nihongo reviewers. It has been chaos rummaging through my bag whenever I need something so in an attempt to organize I've bought plastic envelopes and pouch bags so everything is sorted out. So you see I really need to get a proper bag soon!

I'm currently fascinated with vintage style satchel bags that's not too bulky and plain looking. Sadly I did not find one I liked in SM North nor SM Megamall.

Would you believe I found this gorgeous bag online by chance? I received an email from Lazada approving my affiliate link. Sun, Sea, Air: outfits

I've always loved shoes but I don't want to be obsessed with them because (1) I don't have space in my tiny (but cute) home and (2) I have other things I need to spend my money on.

Since I go out a lot these days whether it be at school, errands, events, travels etc. A nice comfortable shoes is my best friend. I have like 1 flats for dressy occasions and a ton of sneakers. I keep thinking I should invest in good quality shoes that are not sneakers. I can't wear sneakers everywhere (although I try to haha).

What do you think of this summer outfit? Haha I just can't give up the little girl look. I'm obsessed with bowler hats lately. I wonder where I can find one with ears like this. My clothes are mostly in blacks or grays because it's so easy to wear. They go with anything. I try not to wear dark colors during summer because they attract more heat but if I wear a breezy outfit like this it can work right?!

My Mom and I will go to Cebu mid-March for some (okay a lot huhu summer) sun, sea and air. I need to get a pair of beach sandals soon.

How about this for school outfit? I like to dress up when I go to school. At least if my face start looking stressed I still look put together. *lol*

I'm currently obsessed with yellow. In all shades. I read it's my spirit color this year. hehe

This outfit is also perfect when I attend events or bazaars. I can just change my shoes to one of these:

Did I mention these shoes are also fold-able? Very easy to pack when I travel. No hassle bringing them with me when I start wandering. They are made locally by Mishka shoes. Summerly

Felt the sudden shift in the weather? Hurr Summer ( T-T)~. Looks like I'll have to retire my sweaters and jogging pants. Yes I wear sweaters and pants to work. I love Terranova! They have a range of jogging pants that doesn't look like sweat pants. Haha

Anyway~ Lately I'm addicted with ....

Skin Care: Year end hoarding

My skin is horrible these days. ( T-T)~ Several months of stress, not sticking to my skin care routine, and not to mention the most crucial part - not drinking enough water.

Working alongside younger people that take better care of themselves made me rethink how I present myself to people. I will start being vain again. haha!

So here's my December stash. I can't wait to try them. *happy*

edit: So I already tried these and sadly the only one working is the Emu oil. I think my skin need some other type of lotion. (It's super cold!) I'll use the bare it all cream come summertime. Love the mint!

My go to skincare line ... please don't get discontinued ( T-T)~

This made me a bit sad :( I don't see much effect maybe because I don't have the whole set? Still considering how much I paid for it I expected something to happen. :/

Style: Shorts and stockings

I recently purchased a week's worth of black stockings. This is to hide my horrible looking legs. (T-T) And so I can bravely wear super short shorts. It's so hard to find denim shorts in a decent length these days. :/

Anyway....I hate summer!!! *cry*

A renewed love

...for skin care products. ♪( ^-^)/

And general skin management. Ah regrets tsk tsk. I wasted all those time and now I have bad skin! *cry* Anyway since I'm losing weight and trying to eat as healthy as possible, I searched for more natural ways to deal with my skin as well. Here are some helpful links:

• Eula of Eulasleeps is a doctor by profession. I found her blog through her craft posts and found out that she's also fond of skin care products! I love reading her reviews, she's so happy and eager to find good products to use. (〃＾-＾)

Anyway on to the products above:

• Facial Wash [Ponds No Blackheads] - I only use a tinsy tiny amount of this because it tends to dry my skin (especially now with the cold weather). I might switch to a different cleanser this summer. I'm back to experimenting on facial cleansers again because Loreal Pure Zone (my trusty skin care series) was discontinued.
• Night Moisturizer for face & neck [Nivea Creme] - very greasy but it works wonders in getting rid of dry skin. I use a separate tube on my hands and feet too! However, I read it doesn't have anti-aging properties. Still I recommend keeping this in your kikay kit.
• Day Moisturizer [Celeteque Sun care matte SPF30] - This little tube goes a long way. It gives off a white mask so I only use a small amount.
• Facial Scrub / Exfoliate [St. Ives Apricot Scrub] - I use this 3-4 times a week. Usually when my blackheads are more prominent. I need to get a facial soon! urgh
• Daily Sunblock [Dermplus SPF35 Sunblock]
• Beach & Sports Sunblock [Banana Boat SPF80]

Not in picture:

• Facial Mask [Snoe White Vitamin C-rich Calamansi Whitening Detox Clay Mask] Reviewed by Eula and thought it was something I could try temporarily because as usual I can't find my trusty brand of mud mask again. *sigh*
• Hand Cream [Ahava Deadsea Water] Trying this out for a website. Will post a semi-review next time! :)

Style: Hibernating

The cold months are my perfect excuse to wear baggy clothes, tights, sweater and big glasses without getting weird looks from people. I call this the nerd-grandma aka hibernating look. (￣ω￣)ノ

I need to replace my glasses :( my old one snapped in two. Σ（￣o￣lll)

*sigh* I wish I had gone shopping when I had the money. I'm running out of clothes!! I need to save my money since I'll be moving this end of October. Gah!!! So many bills to pay, stuff to buy. I am literally starting over. *no money (╥_╥)*

Style: Crochet Knit Sweater + Maxi dress

My mom got me a knit sweater last June but I haven't been able to wear it. It's too big and too long for me. Clearly, it's not designed for Asians. I'm trying to decide if I should bring it to the tailor and have them fix it for my size or just buy a new one.

Crushing on maxi dresses but alas （￣へ￣） they're not for me. I'm short and wide.
